NaviGuard Car Security and Monitor System
NaviGuard Car Security and Monitor System is the most advanced image based security system for automobile
anti-theft, anti-robbery. It protects both car and the driver. As soon as any illegal enter or attempt to start
a car, the criminal and surrounding image is automatically captured, transferred to control center and a
notification is send to pre-assigned cell phone. It effectively affects the criminal psychology and reduces
the crime attempt
NaviGuard system employed GPRS/GSM mobile network, utilize the GPS technology; combine digital processor, high
frequency communication technology and GIS electronic map. NaviGuard system tailed the special features to meet
the requirement for taxi and general personal vehicle.

The main features for NaviGuard System are
- GPS Monitoring The Control Service Center can select single car or group of cars for monitoring.
The terminal installed on the car will continuously send the location data back to service center
- Robbery Warning When a customer enters the taxi or some break-in attempt, the camera mounted in
the vehicle takes a picture automatically or manually (if chosen). The captured picture will be automatically
sent to control center. The driver can send emergency request or push the panic switch (trigged by hand
or foot) when he realize a robbery attempt. Upon receiving the request, the control center will lock the
received picture and send notification to police along with picture, voice and car location
- Auto Warning / Enable Surveillance In case of emergency such as a robbery, control module in the
vehicle dials a dedicated number automatically or manually to make phone communication path. This voice channel
allows control center to listen the voice activity in the car
- Communication System Combine the GPS single and occupation status from the terminal, control center
is able to route a certain service request to those nearest available vehicle, such as taxi services. This request
information is displayed on the LCD display module on the taxi dashboard. Taxi driver can push the response button
on the LCD panel if he would like to provide service. Control center will confirm the assignment and cancel the same
request send to rest potential taxi
- Foot/Hand Enabled Alert System The panic switch can be installed on either near the dashboard or near the
pedal so a taxi driver can use hand or foot to trigger the alert system
- Mobile Phone As a option, each vehicle can also equipped with mobile phone devices. This device offers hand
free connection for a driver to initialize phone communication
- Control Electronic and Gas System The terminal has interface to electronic and fuel system of the car.
After received instruction from control center, the terminal can execute the command to shutdown electronic or/and
fuel system
- Service Control Center The server module in control center manages automobile, and driver's information.
It also has taxi locating function and services request module, bus schedule module, fleet monitor module. Control
center provides the services for search vehicle status based on the type, time frame, company, car type and model
- Reporting capabilities Different statistics reports are available as the services provided by the NaviGuard
System. These reports include: Mileage report for a given fleet; Over-time Driving report; Taxi Usage report and Ad hoc
reports
